Today we were out picking leaves up and cutting grasses down. While ornamental grasses don’t have to be cut down with the Fall Cleanup, it makes spring clean ups a lot easier. The grasses usually die at the end of October and once a few snow storms hit and the weight of snow gets on the grasses, the broken stalks or blades tend to blow around and make a mess.
