Irrigation system closings are underway to get the water out before it freezes

Finally its time to blow out those lawn sprinkler systems. Because of the colder climate of Massachusetts, not closing your irrigation system properly can cause freezing in the lines.  Freezing water in lines or other components can cause them to burst. To close the system properly, first the water must be shut off.  Next, and more importantly, air has to be blown through every component of the system. Blowing out your system helps prevent damage to heads, lines, valves, pipes, backflow preventers and supply lines. Hingham-landscaper
